Houston police are searching for three men who posed as officers during a home invasion in southeast Houston overnight around 1 a.m.
One suspect was wearing a jacket that said “Police” along with a chain with a badge on it while the other two suspects were dressed in normal clothing.
The three suspects kicked in the front door of the Houston home, demanded money and drugs and social security cards and IDs. They left the home with the resident’s Escalade which was found abandoned a short time later.
The suspects showed up to the house in a silver Crown Victoria, and police are still searching for that vehicle. At this time no suspects are in custody in relation to the theft.
