The woman who is thought to have shot and killed ex-MLB star Darryl Hamilton pled guilty to arson in 2008. The case involved her husband at the time possibly cheating on her.
The bodies of Monica Jordan and Hamilton were found Sunday afternoon in her Pearland home. Hamilton’s body was found near the front entryway, and Jordan’s body was found in another part of the home.
In 2008 Jordan pled guilty to felony arson after burning down a Brazoria County house where she had been living with her then husband.
Investigators believe that Hamilton was shot several times by Jordan, and then she shot herself. The couple’s 13-month-old son was also in the home at the time of the murder-suicide, and he was unharmed.
