Shane Pellerin Law Firm Probate LawyerHeavy rains in the Houston area are resulting in high water in multiple locations. As of Tuesday morning at least two northbound lanes of I-45 were blocked due to flooding.

Some cars have pushed their way through the heavy waters on the roads, but this is highly discouraged.

As of this morning, this is the list of high-water locations that KHOU.com was reporting:

IH-10 EAST WB at CEDAR LN
IH-45 GULF SB at SCOTT ST
IH-45 NORTH NB at N MAIN ST
IH-610 WEST LOOP SB at W 18TH ST
FM-362 NB at WALLER-GRIMES CO LINE

Stalled cars were reported on Highway 59, and an accident that involved high water was reported on I-10 West at the Mason exit ramp.

Early this morning more than three inches of rain had been reported northeast of Houston, two inches of rain was reported on the southwest side of Houston and one and a half inches of rain was reported near Pasadena.
