A Harris County woman shot a teenager during a home invasion over the weekend. This was the second shooting of this kind in the area in about 24 hours.
Four teenagers broke into the woman’s home in the 300 block of North Vista according to police.
The woman heard people inside her home, so she opened fire and hit one of the teenagers in the head. The teenager who was shot was flown to the hospital in critical condition.
The woman is not facing charges at this time. The standard procedure for shootings such as this is to send the case to a Harris County grand jury.
