A driver is facing charges after crashing his pickup truck into a neighbor’s home. The La Porte man is reportedly a local firefighter.
Andrew Stevens is being charges with unlawful carrying of a gun in addition to driving while intoxicated.
According to reports it was around 11 p.m. when Stevens’ truck went through a neighbors’ front yard and then crashed into a child’s bedroom. No injuries have been reported in the accident.
Reports say that the driver lives just down the street from the house where he crashed. Stevens is now in custody.
