A driver crashed into several vehicles parked at a Pasadena household around 3:30 a.m. April 26. The impact caused a chain-reaction that pushed one of the parked cars through the garage door and into the house where it injured a 4-year-old sleeping in an adjacent room. 
The driver attempted to flee the scene. Awakened by the noise, homeowner Tony DeLeon called police and got in his own car to follow the suspect after seeing him attempt to leave the area. The injured child is the grandson of the homeowners.
Police caught up with and arrested the driver after a few blocks. The arrested driver requested to be taken back to the home to apologize to the family. It is not reported what caused the driver to lose control.
