Five individuals were killed in a car crash on Monday, all coming from a cast party for the musical drama called “Texas.” In most cases, party hosts are not liable for the actions of their intoxicated guests, but this case might be a little different.
Those who died in the crash ranged in age from 20 to 24 years old. As details emerge, there is some discussion over whether or not the party host can be hald accountable due to the fact that alcohol was served to a minor. Party hosts can also, in some cases, be held liable for over-serving alcohol to adults.
Texas law is not clear whether or not the host of the cast party could be sued for “negligent undertaking,” but the case is still up for debate and there are many different facets of the incident.
