The Texas Health and Human Services Commission abruptly shut down the Pine Tree Assisted Living Facility in Pasadena just days before Thanksgiving.
Officials say that the facility was closed down due to serious health and safety concerns.
Some of the health and safety concerns cited by officials included a broken fire panel and rats.
More than 100 residents needed to move due to the health and safety concerns.
