A shocking attempted robbery took place early Tuesday morning at a convenience store south of the Texas Medical Center. Around 3am, a large Ford pickup truck came crashing into the front doors, shattering glass and nearly hitting a clerk.
After violently backing the vehicle into the store, four men inside the truck swarmed inside, looking to take what they could.
The looters then loaded an ATM into the back of the Ford and attempted to get away.
However, the thieves’ truck stalled, forcing them to leave behind their stolen merchandise, as well as the pickup truck.
Though the suspects got away empty-handed, they left behind a considerable amount of wreckage, leaving the store owners with over $30,000 in damages.
