All westbound lanes of the I-10 East Freeway were closed this morning in Baytown after an 18-wheeler crash left one person dead overnight.
Authorities say that the crash happened around 3:00 a.m. Wednesday after the big rig hit a sign post.
All inbound lanes of I-10 were closed as crews worked to clean up the wreckage near Thompson Road.
