Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCAuthorities are on the hunt for a man who was driving a white pickup truck when he hit and killed a pedestrian on Texas 249. He swiped another vehicle after hitting the man.

Around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday a woman saw a man walking in the far right lane of the Texas 249 feeder road, and when she moved to the left, she saw a white pickup strike the pedestrian and then sideswipe her car.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop.

While they believe the white truck to be a Ford, authorities are not certain of the make or model.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

If the driver of the vehicle involved in the deadly hit and run is found, he could be charged with failure to stop and render aid at an accident involving serious bodily injury or death, which is a second degree felony.
