Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCA football star from Eisenhower High School has been charged in connection with a Harris County home invasion; he’s being charged with capital murder.

Eligah Haywood, a defensive back from Eisenhower High School, has been offered at least six scholarships to play football at college.

The incident involves a shooting at an apartment in the 5900 block of FM 1960 on December 30.

After the resident was shot, the intruders left with electronic devices as well as the victim’s car.

The prosecutor in the case, Jennifer Meriwether, said that Haywood confessed to being the lookout during the home invasion. Under Texas law, any party involved in a crime is culpable.

While Haywood was arrested Wednesday, no other men have been apprehended at this time.

Haywood’s family declined to comment on the incident.
