A 47-year-old woman was beaten and then shot to death at a home yesterday in southwest Houston.
According to authorities, the woman was shot multiple times at her residence in the 13600 block of Deanmont Drive.
Police say that the woman was found around 1 p.m. They say they have responded to disturbances at the residence several times in the past.
According to authorities, they are searching for a person of interest in the case.
