La Porte police are investigating a body found wrapped in a blanket and tarp at the Bay Forest Golf Course. Additionally, they’re investigating Spencer Mini Storage, located at 11220 Spencer Highway, where they believe the body may have been before the golf course.
Investigators do not know the age of the victim or how he or she died.
Bay Forest Golf Course is maintained by the City of La Porte, which was not able to comment on the situation due to the sensitive nature of the investigation.
Officials say that very little is known in relation to the case at this time.
