A Dumpster fire in La Porte put a chemical storage container at risk over the weekend.
Fire officials said that there was no leak, and no risk to the public.
The fire was reported around 9 p.m. Sunday at South Coast Terminals.
The La Porte Fire Department responded after reports of smoke coming from the plant.
Firefighters were able to quickly and safely put out the fire.
