Pasadena police arrested a man Monday evening who is suspected of being linked to several robberies in the area.
The Pasadena Police Department say they arrested the suspect after a robbery at a Dollar General in the 6400 block of Spencer Highway.
Police say that the man matches the description of a man involved in two previous robberies at the store.
When the officers tried to pull over the suspect, the man refused, and a chase ensued through several neighborhood streets.
The suspect crashed his car and tried to run away from police. Police opened fire, and they eventually were able to take the suspect into custody. Nobody was injured in the incident.
Police believe the man be linked to as many as six area robberies.
