Samantha Washington, 34, has been sentenced 25 years in prison and fined $5,000 for killing her ex-husband in front their 3-year-old.
Washington and Gregory Kirk, 28, had been married with three children before separating.
On May 11, 2021, Kirk was on his lunch break when Washington brought along their 3-year-old son. Washington then fatally shot Kirk in front of their son and several other witnesses.
Washington must serve at least half of her sentence before she will be eligible for parole.
