Authorities say that Pasadena’s Veranda Village apartment complex caught fire at least twice before Friday’s fire destroyed 24 units.
Veranda Village is located in the 3500 block of Shaver Street near the western edge of Pasadena’s city limits.
Pasadena’s Fire Marshal says that 24 units were destroyed in the fire, but fortunately all residents were safely evacuated.
About 10 fire trucks and 75 firefighters were called to the Veranda Village fire.
The Red Cross is helping the residents who have been displaced by the fire.
