A violent carjacking in the Pasadena area left a woman injured and a teen in CPS custody. The carjacking occurred around 1 a.m. on Axilda Street near Vinett Street on the morning of April 30.
According to reports, a 29-year-0ld woman and a 16-year-0ld runaway arrived at a home in the neighborhood when several people rushed out of the home to beat up the woman. The woman suffered a broken jaw and was taken to the hospital.
Police say that the teen was not injured in the carjacking incident, and she will be put into CPS custody.
Officers are unsure why the woman and the teen were together and why they were at the home where they were carjacked.
