An 18-wheeler overturned and is blocking the Eastex Freeway southbound to the East Freeway Eastbound.
The big rig was carrying watermelons and fortunately none of the watermelons spilled in the accident.
Cleanup of the accident is expected to last through rush hour as the truck ruptured and spilled diesel fuel.
