Shane Pellerin Law Firm Probate LawyerA man accused of murder in the stabbing death of Brian Allen Dillon was recently killed in a fiery car accident in East Texas. Clifford Paul Woods was set to go to trial in Ector County in just two weeks when he died in the single-car accident.

Sabine County Sheriff Tom Maddox says that large trees in the area make accidents such as this a regular occurrence. He mentioned that with the national forest and the large number of pine trees, often when a driver runs off the road he’s apt to hit one of the trees.

Woods’ trial date was set for September 9, but the case will be dismissed once a death certificate becomes available.
