Another Houston area IHOP became the target of an armed robbery late Monday night.

Police said three men entered the IHOP restaurant on Greens Road near the North Freeway, demanded money from the cash register and ran away.

The men, armed and wearing hoodies, fled in a Toyota pickup truck and got away, according to police.

There have been five armed robberies at IHOP locations in the Houston area in the last 30 days, including one near Champion Forest on August 5th. In that robbery, three armed men stole wallets and cell phones from three IHOP customers.

Police said they don’t believe that the robberies are related at this time.

Any information regarding the robbery should be given to Crime Stoppers, 713-222-TIPS.
