An accident involving an 18-wheeler left one man dead. The accident happened at 7400 La Porte Freeway not far from Independence Freeway.
An 18-wheeler was stopped on the shoulder of the highway, and a driver rear-ended the truck.
The man, who is said to be Hispanic and between the ages of 20-30, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was hurt in the accident.
