A man was killed Friday morning just before 6:00 a.m. as a vehicle struck him near the intersection of Spencer Highway and Federal Road.
The driver of the vehicle that hit the man remained on the scene of the accident, and police do not believe that intoxication was involved.
After the man was hit, he was transported to a hospital, where he died.
