A series of “chemical incidents” were reported at the ALTIVA Chemical Complex in La Porte last Monday morning.
Flaring and odors were noticed as a result of the chemical incidents.
The La Porte Chemical Complex is the largest merchant producer of specialty and custom phosgene derivatives in North America.
The complex is located at 1901 W. H Street. Representatives of the plant say they are coordinating with local officials.
