A pregnant woman’s vehicle was stolen as she was eating lunch in a Willowbrook restaurant Monday, Khou.com reports.
Jordan Kulaga and her mother stopped to eat after returning from a doctor’s appointment at Houston Methodist; Kulaga is due to give birth any day.
Thieves stole her F250 truck, a new car seat and all of the items Kulaga and her mother had purchased for her new child at the mall that day.
“I just don’t understand how you can look at someone and think you know they work hard for their stuff, so I should just take it. I have that right. Like that bothers me. We just paid this car of in December,” Kulaga told Khou.com.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance video showing two men watching the women from a Chevy Impala, as Kulaga and her mother walked into the restaurant.
The restaurant owner offered to replace the car seat, Kulaga told Khou.com. Police are still searching for the truck and the thieves.
