Former Pasadena rodeo official Angela Marie Hawthorne has been accused of stealing more than $32,000 from the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo.
The former official is being held in Harris County Jail and is being charged with theft. She was the business manager of the rodeo at the time of the alleged embezzlement.
According to court documents, Hawthorne created fraudulent payroll checks addressed to herself between January 2013 and January 2016 totaling $32,922.91.
