Helpful neighbors seem to be a theme in Houston. A few weeks ago, two stopped a home from being broken by chasing the suspected robber with their guns; on Sunday, one observant neighbor helped police bust an entire theft ring.
The neighbor called police Sunday night to report a burglary. He had the license plate of the car he believed was involved, which led police to a mobile home near Willow Bough.
Police discovered many suspected stolen items at a mobile home, including power washers and chain saws. They returned Monday with a full unit and K-9 and discovered another stolen car.
Although unsure of the full amount of goods recovered, police said they are putting the puzzle together and have many leads. Police said this one call could lead to closing dozens of cases they believe to be involved.
