The Harris County District Attorney’s Office remains undecided on pressing charges against a Jeep driver who targeted a Deer Park cyclist.
Initially the office had stated that they would make a decision on the driver’s arrest by April 22. The incident happened on April 13, and the driver is captured on camera targeting the Deer Park cyclist.
Previously the DA’s office had stated that charges were off the table as the cyclist was afraid for his safety.
The cyclist’s body camera captured the incident which included slurs being yelled at the cyclist and then a possible attempt to drive into the cyclist.
The driver of the Jeep said he was angry that the cyclist was on the road.
