A fire was reported around 2:00 a.m. Monday at a mobile home in Deer Park on Durant Avenue near Center Street. A young child was rushed to the hospital via Life Flight in critical condition with severe burns.
Deer Park firefighters said that the home was already engulfed in flames by the time they arrived.
The fire marshal was investigating, and there’s still no update on what may have caused the fire.
