Royal Dutch Shell Plc in Deer Park on Friday restarted a crude unit that was shut down February 14. The unit restarted was their small crude distillation unit (CDU) at its 318,000-barrel-per-day facility.
The 70,000 bpd unit was shut in February by a pump seal failure.
DU-1 is the last unit shut in February to restart at the Deer Park refinery.
