DHL Supply Chain’s leased campus is set to expand with the addition of a third distribution building. 
Denver-based DCT Industrial Trust will be adding a 220,000-square-foot building to the DHL leased campus, bringing the facilities to a total 535,000 square feet. The company acquired over 13 acres adjacent to the existing campus and will break ground in the second quarter.
The La Porte campus will provide support to petrochemical companies in the Houston Port. DCT Industrial’s Houston portfolio spans around 4.5 million square feet of facilities.
This expansion follows DHL’s 2015 capacity-doubling project in Houston, to support the oil and gas industry in the region.
