Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCA baby girl was dropped off at a southwest Houston fire station earlier today. She was only a few hours old when a woman dropped her off at the station.

The firefighters at Station 21 accepted the baby without question because of the Safe Haven law. Under the law, parents are legally allowed to drop off infants 60 days old or younger and not be prosecuted.

They weren’t sure if the woman who dropped off the baby was the baby’s mother. The child was taken to Texas Children’s Hospital where she was checked out and confirmed to be healthy.
