A Monday afternoon building collapse in west Houston left three people dead.
An interior stairwell collapsed without warning in a 15-story building near I-10 and Beltway 8.
In addition to the three who died, a man was also injured and is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
The building is under construction, and according to the Houston Fire Department, all 240 construction workers have been accounted for.
While inspectors say that the building itself is not in danger of collapsing, they are concerned about another stairwell collapse.
