Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCWhile all industries are suffering during the pandemic, the oil and gas industry has been hit especially hard during COVID-19.

The Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association says that the state of Texas has lost nearly 40,000 jobs in the oil and gas industry since the pandemic started.

Max Midstream Texas is launching a program that it hopes will add jobs into the energy industry as well as the local economy.

They’ve locked in a deal at the Port of Calhoun to connect three pipelines across the state to export oil. They hope the project will create about a thousand jobs over the next several years.
