Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCSoaking showers will continue as a result of Beta’s landfall in Southeast Texas. The storm made landfall at about 10 p.m. at the end of the Matagorda Peninsula.

As of this morning, the storm had maximum sustained winds of about 40 mph.

Beta is expected to make a slow north to northeast turn Tuesday.

There is a Flash Flood Warning in place for Brazoria, Fort Bend and Harris Counties until 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
