The owners of the popular Monument Inn say the ITC fire is costing them $22,000 a day. Their street is closed to customers while cleanup continues as a result of the fire.
Bob and Ann Laws filed damage claims against ITC as the restaurant’s insurance company has refused to cover losses.
As of earlier this week, the Monument Inn had been closed for more than three weeks.
The Laws are using retirement savings to keep the restaurant afloat.
