A La Porte High School student who was suspended for making a gun threat against the school is now facing felony charges.
On Monday evening, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office that the student was arrested on the charge of making a terroristic threat.
Over the weekend the student posted a gun threat on social media. Students who saw the threat reached out to school officials.
The district says this is a good reminder to bring any and all concerns to school officials.
