A fire at the Odfjell Terminal Houston facility on Port Road resulted in a shelter-in-place order in La Porte. The shelter-in-place order was lifted Friday, December 11.
Odfjell said the fire happened in its Utility/Power pack area.
During the shelter-in-place order, residents in the area were encouraged to stay indoors and turn off all HVAC systems.
