A teen in La Porte is being investigated for an alleged terroristic threat against a school.
The threat was allegedly made against Lomax Junior High last Wednesday.
District officials released the statement below:
“Early this evening, we received a report that a Lomax Junior High School student allegedly made a terroristic threat regarding the school. The parents of the student have been contacted, and as is always the case, the situation has been reported to the La Porte Police Department, which is conducting its own investigation into this matter. Please know that we take all threats very seriously, and we applaud the individuals who bring this information to our attention.”
La Porte police are investigating the alleged threat.
