Two people died after an aircraft crashed near the La Porte airport.
The small experimental aircraft came down in a field near the 11000 block of North H Street.
The FAA says the aircraft was built by a private citizen and not by a certified manufacturer.
The National Transportation Safety Board is sending investigators to the crash site. The FAA will also be assisting with the investigation.
