David Ortiz of Pasadena is one of at least five people that are missing after a fire started around 4:30 a.m. Friday morning in San Marcos.
Ortiz, 21, graduated from Pasadena Memorial High School and was studying at Texas State University.
The identities of the five victims are pending autopsies. The number of deceased victims matches the number of bodies that have been recovered.
The City of San Marcos has created a resource center to answer questions for those who have been impacted by the fire. The center is located at the San Marcos Activity Center and is open from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. through Wednesday, July 25.
