Pasadena police say that a stranger kidnapped and raped an 8-year-old girl at knifepoint on July 15.
Damien Lavon Johnson, 27, has been charged with super aggravated sexual assault of a child. He is being held on a $500,000 bond in Harris County Jail.
Authorities say that the girl was playing with her sisters outside at the Camino Del Sol complex.
A video doorbell caught Johnson walking by the girl’s apartment several hours before the alleged abduction.
