Nearly two years after a six-week-old boy from Pasadena died, his father is being charged with murder.
Xavier Darren Whitaker, 20, has been charged with murdering his newborn son.
Authorities say that the infant had sustained multiple blunt force injuries. His father had claimed that the boy became unresponsive during a feeding.
The injuries were consistent with stomping, kicking or being thrown.
Whitaker was charged with murder on August 8, 2020.
