A man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend killed himself in front of Pasadena police.
Juan Carlos Mata, 20, was a person of interest in the deadly shooting of 19-year-old Lesley Reyes.
Authorities say that Mata died by suicide Thursday morning when Pasadena police arrived on the scene after receiving a call about a suspicious person.
Pasadena police say that when they arrived on the scene they found Mata near a makeshift memorial for Reyes and that he then went behind a vehicle with his shotgun and shot himself.
