Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCPasadena ISD officials are asking roughly 1,300 district employees to return extra pay they received during COVID-19 school closures. A “major clerical error” is said to have caused an issue, and at least one employee is suing to keep the money.

Pasadena Superintendent DeeAnn Powell said that the district accidentally paid employees two and a half times their regular pay.

The district had initially promised employees time and a half pay, rather than two and a half times their regular pay.
