A Pasadena mother of four who was injured in a drive-by shooting has died. The woman was shot in the head in the 1400 block of Cactus Street around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.
According to police, a couple and their 4-month-old daughter were inside a home when a vehicle drove by and shot into the house more than a dozen times.
The woman was identified by family members as Rebeca Gomez. Officers say that a bullet nearly hit the baby’s bassinet while the child was sleeping.
The other three children were staying with their grandparents when the shooting happened.
Police are looking for any surveillance cameras in the area to potentially reveal more information to lead to an arrest.
