Shaw Avenue is slated for a $2.8 million development project with the goal of revitalizing Pasadena’s downtown.
The goal is for the project to be completed next fall. It will include improvements in on-street parking, wider sidewalks and improved lighting and landscaping.
The project is funded by the Pasadena Economic Development Corp.
Shaw Avenue is remembered fondly by Pasadena residents as its original downtown.
The EDC hopes that this project will jumpstart more development on the northwest side of Pasadena.
