Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCA powerful tornado ripped through the Pasadena and Deer Park areas Tuesday afternoon, leading to Pasadena ISD schools closing on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service confirmed that the tornado moved through southern Harris County near I-45 and Beltway 8 South. Its path went through Pasadena, Deer Park and the Houston Ship Channel.

Authorities say that the Red Cross is available to help residents and pass out clean-up kits at Burke Road and Yellowstone Drive.

The Salvation Army will also be available at Burke Road and Yellowstone Drive Wednesday at 6:30 to provide meals and help residents find shelter.

Reports suggest that buildings in the 6100 block of Spencer Highway were damaged due to the storms.
