Hutchins has been charged with intoxication assault as a result of the DUI crash. Schoppe has had several surgeries so far and now has severely damaged arms.

At the time of the DUI crash, Hutchins was on probation for a drug charge. His blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
